How it works
Drop your .pst / .ost file
A mailbox export from Outlook, an old Exchange cache, an archive from a retired account. It is parsed on the spot by a JavaScript PST engine in this tab. Nothing is uploaded, ever; watch the Network tab and see no file bytes leave.
Browse folders, read messages
The folder tree appears on the left, messages in the middle — 50 per page, with a filter box. Click any message to read its full body and see its attachments; single attachments always download free.
Export if you need to
Export the archive as EML files (zip), an MBOX mailbox, a PDF document, or a CSV of message metadata — straight from your browser. Free exports cover the first 10 messages; a one-time license unlocks the whole mailbox.
Simple pricing
The viewer and 10-message exports are free. A one-time license unlocks unlimited exports.

Frequently asked questions
What is a .pst file?
A .pst file (Outlook Personal Storage Table) is the archive format Microsoft Outlook uses to store copies of your mail, calendar and contacts on your computer. You usually meet one after exporting a mailbox from Outlook or decommissioning an old work account — and then discover that nothing but Outlook can open it. An .ost file is the same container used as an offline Exchange cache.
How do I open a PST file without Outlook?
Drag the .pst (or .ost) file into the box above, or click "Choose .pst / .ost file". The archive is parsed by a JavaScript engine running entirely in this tab: the folder tree appears on the left, messages in the middle, and clicking any message shows its full body and attachments on the right. No upload, no account, no Outlook installation.
Are my emails uploaded to a server?
No — never. The file is parsed entirely by JavaScript running in your browser tab; not a byte of it is transmitted. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools (Network tab): the only requests are page loads, an anonymous usage counter (counts only, never content), and license validation for paid users. Your mail stays on your device. Details in the privacy policy.
What's free and what does a license unlock?
Free, forever: browsing every folder, reading every message, downloading any single attachment, and exporting the first 10 messages in every format (EML zip, MBOX, PDF, CSV) as often as you like. A one-time license (3-month $14.99 or lifetime $29.99) unlocks unlimited exports, bulk attachment extraction, and cross-folder search. No subscription either way.
Can you open encrypted or password-protected PST files?
No. Outlook's "compressible encryption" (the default for years) is handled transparently, but a strongly encrypted or password-protected PST/OST cannot be read without the password, and this tool does not attempt to crack it. Remove the password in Outlook first (File → Account Settings → Data Files → Settings), then open the exported copy here.
What are the size limits?
Files up to 300 MB open comfortably in a desktop browser — parsing is in-memory, so the practical ceiling is your device's RAM. Larger archives should be split in Outlook first (export one folder at a time into separate PST files) and opened one at a time here.
