1. The service

PSTConvert ("the service") is a web tool that opens Outlook .pst and .ost archives and exports their messages to EML, MBOX, PDF or CSV directly in your browser. The files themselves never leave your device — all parsing, rendering and file generation happen locally in your browser.

2. Accuracy disclaimer — you must verify the output

Real-world PST/OST files vary (older Outlook versions, RTF-only bodies, unusual encodings, partial corruption). The exporter is best-effort: message bodies stored as RTF are exported as degraded plain text and marked as such, PDF export covers Latin scripts only, and messages the parser cannot read are reported rather than silently dropped. You are responsible for reviewing the output against your original files before relying on it — especially before deleting or overwriting the originals. We are not liable for decisions based on exported output.

3. No professional advice

The service is a file-format utility. Nothing on this site constitutes legal or other professional advice. An exported file is a convenience copy, not a certified record — for e-discovery or forensic use, work from the original archive with proper tooling.

4. License terms

Viewing, browsing, single-attachment downloads and exports capped at the first 10 messages per format are free. A paid license (one-time: $14.99 for 90 days or $29.99 lifetime) grants one user a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to unlimited exports, bulk attachment extraction and cross-folder search for its term — neither tier renews and there is nothing to cancel. A license key does not itself expire; the 90-day term applies to the 3-month tier from the date of purchase. You may not share, resell, or redistribute license keys. Abuse of a key (e.g. public posting) may result in deactivation without refund.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the service only for files you are authorized to possess, and for lawful purposes. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the service or misrepresent it.

6. Intellectual property

The service, its design, and its code are our property. Your mailbox files — and everything in them — remain entirely yours. PST and OST are Microsoft Outlook data file formats; this independent tool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft or Outlook.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time; since paid licenses are one-time purchases (not subscriptions), if we discontinue the service we will refund purchases made in the 12 months before discontinuation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or the price of the cheapest license, whichever is greater). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.

9. Refunds

If a paid license does not work for your files, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Because the viewer is free to test with your actual files before buying, refunds outside this window are at our discretion.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
